need some advice marriage seems elusive? help?
I have a friend and she is having problems with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend keeps talking about marriage but hasn’t been consistent with his statements about marriage. Sometimes he all for it and then other times he says they may have to postpone it for a while. My friend really loves this man and wants to marry him sometime while we’re all still young. He is even talking about buying a place next year and marrying her so doesn’t that mean he should ask her now so they will be engaged for that amount of time? Any advice? He’s 25 and my friend is 24.
Sure. Tell your friend to stop pushing the issue, and you are FAR from being "old". To be honest, the chances of any marriage lasting is much greater when both people are 28 and over. Marriage is HARD, and not something that should be taken on just because you feel you should within any kind of time frame.

Marriage advice? How to have a successful marriage.?
I’m just wondering for those who’ve been married for many many years, how did you do it? With divorce rates so high, I would like some advise on how to have a successful marriage when and if I get married. Thank you ![]()
I haven’t been married for so long, but long term marriages are as much work as new ones. My opinion is that it’s work maintaining a relationship, and learning to accept or tolerate as well as teach and learn from the other. Marriages, or other relationships usually have to be re-invented to stay sharp. Creative efforts by both people help.
It’s way more than just honoring vows, or remaining loyal to one person. Things to share, ideas to consider and explore, knowing the other as well as you know yourself while still allowing that some mystery is a good thing and can lead to discoveries.
Apathy is lethal.

Should you go to a Catholic priest for marriage advice if he has never been married?
No, and I wouldn’t go to a Baker for a tooth cleaning either.
Jehovah God has outlined, in the scriptures, how to have a good marriage, the role of the husand, wife and children. That is were we go for counseling and advice. Catholics don’t use the Bible, they use mans teachings.
What is the best marriage advice you can give me to make it work?
Husband and I get along good but I’d like to know from some married people what there secrets to success are, please advise.
Gracie plain and simple we sometimes treat our partners worse than we would treat our friends
So my tip is treat your hubby like what he is your closest and dearest friend . Oh and in the bed room rock his world teee heee
