The most beautiful , passionate and fulfilling relationship human beings can have is marriage?
Whether it is live in relationship , contract marriage or a traditional marriage. But why we treat such intimate and caring relationship so casually ? people protect their business interests by putting in huge efforts and indemnify themselves against threats and competitions, Take care of health by insurance and exercises. Even bother about friendships. But why we just ignore to care , protect and insure marriage which is the most satisfying and delicate bond in our life and allow to get it affected and destroyed so easily?
No, marriage is just another form of abuse. I stood before God and made a promise and meant it, my husband stood before God and lied. I took years of abuse from him and his family, while he shut me out and focused his attention on other women. He cheated on me and went to his church,, told his priest a bunch of lies so he could get remarried in his church, and just like that I was out of a marriage. I went through marriage classes, work books, retreats to get married, to get divorced I didn’t even deserve the dignity, self respect or self worth of even the basic counseling. He just came home from work, announced he filed for divorce and two months later I was homeless and jobless and trying to pick myself back up. I had no say in the divorce, he and his priest came up with the divorce and the terms of the divorce. I don’t see how I am supposed to throw away 21 years of my life just like that. I had no say in the divorce, these men just came up with it, and now I have to pay for the wrong they did. I got cheated out of so much, and treated like a piece of trash. I wonder the same thing you do, how do you just throw out someone like they are nothing but garbage, and then expect them to magically survive. marriage is just more abuse.

I keep an allowance for myself and give the rest of my paycheck to my wife. She is in control of the finances because in her past, she was never allowed to have any control over how money was spent. She divorced him by the way. I have everything I want or need, and she can have all the control she wants. It’s no big deal because she is a responsible person. She also does the cooking and I do the cleaning and laundry. I also work three jobs. We have a very loving and affectionate relationship and we also respect and encourage each others desire to develop our hobbies and other activities. She is an excellent quilter too.

Anyone’s marriage or relationship actually broke up becuase of a Valentines Day?
What I’m asking was if there were problems in the marriage or relationship, has anyone had a Valentines Day be the straw the broke the camels back?
i have only had this happen once, but while dating a guy while on my senior year i found out he was cheating on me and even though he thought we were still an item on valentines day is when i found out the horrible truth of his unfaithfulness and i broke it off right then and there. all though my heart was crushed and my feelings of sadness were uncontrollble i knew it was the best decision i had to make and to this day i still stand by that decision. sometimes on days like valentines day you have to make these unwanted decisions on whatever the case maybe but its always the right thing to do in anything that is necessary.
Are you staying in an unhappy marriage/relationship for your kids?
Do you think staying in an unhealthy/unhappy relationship for your kids sake is a good solution, considering that they know you are not happy and may carry this warped idea of what love is with them into their own future relationships?
That situation only works if the parents are on good terms and are friendly with one another. Even then, it’s a stretch. Divorce is hard on children, but you are right to worry about what you inadvertently teach them about love by staying in an marriage lacking love.
In the end, children like to see their parents happy. Happy parents keep the home atmosphere positive, and the growing experience for children is far better.
It’s good that parents think of their children when making life altering decisions, but the parent must also take into consideration their own happiness as well.

Because the U.S.A. has slowly (or not so slowly) eroded our morales and taught us to only value corporations and our obligations to corporations.
We are forced to disregard the importance of family in order to fulfill the obligation to them that supports us.
